UCR employees that log their commute trips (including working remotely from home) have a chance of winning monthly prizes offered through IE Commuter, a program of the Riverside County Transportation Commission and San Bernardino County Transportation Authority.
Sign up online for an account at IECommuter.org. Log a minimum of eight rideshare commutes on the online Commute Diary to automatically be entered into the sweepstakes that month. Rideshare trips consist of telework (working remotely from home), carpool, vanpool, transit, bike or walking to work. Each month you enter at least eight trips, you will be eligible for the drawing.
The Rideshare Spotlight program is open to anyone 18 years or older who live or work in Riverside or San Bernardino County.
Other rideshare incentives are available through IE Commuter as well, however they are only offered to residents of western Riverside County and San Bernardino County. For those looking at returning to work on campus in the future, you might be eligible for incentives for using alternative transportation. Working from home does not qualify for financial incentives, but does qualify for the Spotlight Monthly Rewards drawing.
