University of California Colleagues

Faculty/staff who work at another UC and pay for a long term (quarter or annual) parking permit issued from that campus may receive up to five days of complimentary parking each fiscal year at the Riverside campus.  Generally, faculty and staff members, regardless of their home or assigned campus, who park at the Riverside campus, are required to purchase a Riverside parking permit.  Reciprocity of parking permits is not extended to students who are enrolled at other UC's.

UC Colleagues can obtain a complimentary UCR parking permit by presenting their valid faculty or staff parking permit along with a photo identification at the main campus kiosk.  All vehicles are required to have a valid UC Riverside parking permit to park in any of our campus lots.

Location to pick-up a complimentary parking permit:

University Kiosk: Located on W. Campus Dr., South of University Avenue

UC Riverside Faculty/Staff Visiting Other Campuses

Permit reciprocity varies by campus. If you will be visiting another UC campus for business purposes, please review their permit reciprocity policy at their website below.

For proof of a valid UCR parking permit, please login to the Parking Portal with your NetID and select ‘Permits/View Your Permits’ on the upper left menu. Click on the Permit Number. At the bottom of the Permit Details screen, click on ‘Print Permit’. Your current permit information will be displayed and can be printed to show proof of a valid parking permit for other campuses. If the campus requires additional information, please have them contact UCR Transportation Services at (951)827-8277.
