Transportation Services can assist you with hosting a successful event by providing you with guest permits, directional signs, parking attendants and transport services for your guests.

Please fill out the Event Parking Inquiry Form or contact Transportation Services’ Event Parking office at (951) 827-1295 to discuss parking options for your event.

  • Are you a department expecting 25 or more vehicles?

    Submit your recharge no later than 10 business days prior to your event and always before publicizing.

    • Login to the UCR Web Recharge System
    • Under Submit a Request, click on New Service Request
    • Select TAPS-EVNT
    • Enter your NetID to begin the transaction.
  • Are you a department expecting less than 25 vehicles?

    Your guests will pick up guest permits at the kiosk on the day of the event. To arrange this, do the following:

    • Login to the UCR Web Recharge System
    • Under Submit a Request, click on New Service Request
    • Select TAPS-KIOSK
    • Enter your NetID to begin the transaction.
    • Your guest names will appear on a guest list at the kiosk. You will only be billed for the permits that are picked up.
  • Are you a UCR student?
    • Email Event Parking with all the details of your event.
    • If you have an ASUCR account, we will provide you with an estimate of costs for your event.
    • You must then submit a parking requisition to ASUCR.
