Be a hero and donate blood during the Donations for Citations Blood Drive October 29-31, 2025. Transportation Services and LifeStream Blood Bank are partnering again to offer this important program which strengthens community health resources while providing practical benefits to our campus community.   Blood donors will receive full credit towards a single parking violation with a fine up to $86.

Anyone that attempts to donate will qualify, even if the donation is denied or deferred for any reason.  Friends or co-workers can also donate in your name.  In fact, we encourage everyone to donate blood regardless of whether you have a citation or not.  A receipt will be given to each person that attempts to donate, and you can use that receipt towards your own citation, give it to a friend to pay off their citation, or give it to TAPS staff to pay off a random citation done through a raffle.

Blood donation serves as a critical component of our healthcare infrastructure. Each donation has the potential to benefit multiple patients requiring transfusion services.

Schedule in advance here: https://www.lstream.org/ucrtaps/

Participants will receive snacks, drinks, and giveaways such as In-N-Out gift cards, T-shirts, and more (while supplies last).

Program Rules & Guidelines:

  • You will receive full credit towards a parking violation up to $86.  (Does not qualify for citations received due to parking in disabled spaces.)  Any additional late fees need to be paid at the time of donation.
