The Caltrans pavement rehabilitation project along the I-215 will continue through spring with operations occurring evening and overnight hours.  Occasional day and weekend work can be expected.  The project is scheduled for completion by fall 2026.

Motorists should expect operations to occur in both directions weekly from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Work operations will conclude early Saturday morning. Alternating lane, ramp and connector closures may occur as needed. Two interstate lanes will be open for through access at all hours. No consecutive ramps will be closed at a given time.

  • NB and SB 215 from Spruce St. to Central Ave. Alternating lanes closed. 2 lanes through access remain.
  • NB and SB Blaine St. on/off ramps closure. Curb ramp operations will require temporary sidewalk closures. Signs will be posted to use alternate pedestrian access.
  • Temporary closure of street lane at SB Blaine St. off-ramp. Follow indicated detour signs. Expected to reopen early May.
  • NB and SB MLK Blvd. on/off ramps closure.
  • NB and SB University on/off ramps closure. Curb ramp operations will require temporary sidewalk closures. Signs will be posted to use alternate pedestrian access.
  • 215/91/60 connectors closure. Follow indicated detour signs!
